what do use if you dont have snowboarding brush.?
ok.
first thing is first do i NEED a brush to brush my board after waxing.
I ordered one and it hasn't yet came in the mail but my snowboard is in extreme need of waxing and im going to the slopes tommorow.
I did find a white nylon brush in the garage idk what it was for but we used it to wash my step dads truck a while back...
would that do for now until my brush comes in the mail or do I absolutly need the brush.
Sorry but i have another question do you scrape the board of the wax after using a gel wax or do you let it soak in?
Just use a Brillo pad, you can find a 4 pack of them at the grocery store for five bucks, works just as well as a brush. I went to a snowboard shop to get a brush, and the guy there told me to just use a Brillo pad, it is what they use there in the tuning shop. I would not use the nylon brush, most snowboard brushes are made of horsehair and the like, nylon might not be stiff enough. Brushes are mainly used to structure the wax so it works better, just go from tip to tail.
If you use gel wax you probably don't have to scrape it, but it should say on the package. Anyway, it doesn't last very long, most of it is gone after five runs, hot wax is better, and will last about half a season depending on how often you ride.
