CHANGE SPROCKET ON BMX NORCO RIVET BLACK?
I HAVE BOUGHT MY SON A BMX NORCO RIVET FOR BIRTHDAY BUT HE WANTS A SMALLER SPROCKET. IT HAS A 8 SPLINE TUBULAR CRANK. CAN THIS BE DONE>? IS IT EASY? WHAT DO I NEED TO BUY??? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.
AT MOMENT IT HAS 14T CASSETTE 34T SPROCKET
well to do that your going to have to overhaul the bottom bracket switch the old sprocket to the one you want to install. usually people don't have the tools to do this. i would recommend you take it to a bike shop . safer and quicker. and depends what sprocket your going to install if its a 30 tooth you have to use a 11tooth cassette driver. a 27 with an 10 a 25 with a 9 and maybe if you have it a 22 tooth with a 8 tooth driver. what ever your case take it to a bike shop good luck!
