How do i get the thread to stay in my sewing machine?
i have a SINGER Lockstitch 2000, how do i get it to work ??
Sounds like you either haven't gotten it threaded properly, or you aren't hanging on to the thread tails as you start a seam. Do you have your manual? If so, try taking all the thread off, and then thread again from scratch, making sure the presser foot is raised while you thread the top (so the thread gets into the tension). Rethread the bottom, making sure to leave a couple of inches of thread hanging out of the bobbin case. When you raise the bobbin thread, pull both top and bobbin thread under and behind the presser foot. Make sure the thread uptake lever is completely raised when you start to sew, and make sure you hang on to the thread tails when you start the seam.
