What is the name of the leather "kilt" worn by Roman soldiers to protect their upper legs and groin area?
Does this piece of leather armor have a specific name other than skirt or kilt? I think I remember reading about it once, but cannot remember what it was called. i might also be imagining the whole thing. Thank you all for your help.
