Java Moss is dying..?
i got my Java moss at Big Als around 1-2 weeks ago. Once i brought it home i put it in my fry tank, soon after (1-2 days) i noticed it browning so i put it in my main 30 gallon tank. The tips of most of the Moss started to grow, i'm sure it's growing because the new parts are BRIGHT green instead of dark green. Will the brown parts recover and if so, what could I do? If the brown parts won't recover, should I throw those parts away? will it affect the rest of the moss?

The brown parts of your java moss are dead and will not recover. You can throw them away if you can disentangle them from the rest. That's the tricky thing about java moss. The good news is that if you don't throw the brown parts away they won't hurt the rest of the moss as long as they don't block the light too much.
If my moss is starting to look brown in places I generally take it out of my tank, rinse it out well and try to pick out as much of the brown strands as I can and then put it back in. That way if the parts that were dying were doing so because they were blocked from the light, the moss is rearranged when I put it back and at least the pattern of browning gets changed if not completely stopped. Most of my moss grows really well except for in my betta tank, where I think it's a little too dark for it to really thrive.
