can anything be done about a broken foot bone?
One of the little bones on the outside of the foot. Is it even worth getting it checked (x-rayed or whatever)? Does it depend on the person's age/general health at all?
Dear Goddess, the below web page advises seeing a doctor and getting an X ray, especially if:
The foot is blue, cold, or numb.
The foot is misshapen, deformed, or pointing in the wrong direction.
There is a large cut or wound near a possible broken bone.
You have severe pain.
Another useful bit of information is that you should not drive a car with a broken foot! (I suppose they are referring to the right foot and the pressure on the gas pedal. Hope this helps.
