What are parabens and why are they bad?
They always say to avoid shampoos and conditioners with them, i think they're a preservative or something, but what are they and why are they bad?
Few reasons, actually:
- They can cause allergic reaction to people with sensitive scalps.
- It can also be used as other cosmetics, and can therefore cause breast cancer.
- It can cause early aging of the skin, because it reacts with UVB rays in a bad way.
Parabens themselves are chemicals that are used preservatives for cosmetics, not only shampoo and conditioner.
